    . The medal is used and is in good condtion with limited signs of wear and age.  The ribbon is clean and appears to be original.  The ribbon is mounted on a wrapped brooch that has a pin and open catch fastener that is in good working order.  The medal was awarded to the 6,200 members (officers & enlisted) of the Wisconsin National Guard that deployed to the US- Mexico boarder in 1916-17.
    Wisconsin
