    Description

    Hi. You are bidding on a vintage WW I GOLD STAR Mothers Pilgrimage MEDAL Bronze 1930 Tiffany & Co #316.
    These medals were produced for the widows who went to Europe to visit the graves of their fallen sons who were buried in the country where they were killed. There were apparently 316 widows who took advantage of this program and this is number 65. The medal is bronze with a gold star. The medal is marked Tiffany & Co. on the reverse at about 5 o’clock. The medal shows appropriate wear with a couple dings to the edges.
    Obviously, being only 316 made makes these relatively scarce.
