    Description

This is our "Baby Ki-Rin" figurine, test painted by one of our production painters, Gina, in a color scheme she calls "White Lightning".
This figurine was individually painted in our studio. Photos are of the actual item. Please examine them and read the description before bidding. All pieces are sold "as is," the way they appear in the photos and cannot be customized.
This ki-rin is airbrushed in black on its fur with a gradient of black to silver on its scales and bright white lightning stripes around its sides. It has a dusting of silver all over, dark red glass eyes, a silver colored pewter horn, and a satin finish.
Gina has signed this ki-rin on its felt pad and marked it as "White Lightning Test Paint #1". This piece will come with a Certificate of Authenticity. This ki-rin and its Certificate of Authenticity will not be signed by Melody Peña.
Like with all of our test painted pieces, it is possible that we will paint more of these ki-rins in a color similar to this as production or limited production pieces in the future. This is a cast gypsum reproduction of M. Peña’s original sculpture produced by Windstone Editions, Corvallis, Oregon, U.S.A. (previously located in North Hollywood, California). It is for indoor use only.
This sculpture measures approximately 3" tall.
Note: Although we try our best to photograph the colors of each item as accurately as possible, please be aware that different computer screens can display colors differently. The colors of this item as they appear on your computer screen may vary slightly from the colors of the actual item. Different lighting conditions can also affect the appearance of colors. All of our sculptures are photographed to appear as they would under natural daylight. The colors of this item may look different in your home depending on the type of lighting you use.
