    Description

    Large, Vintage Salesman Sample Suitcase from H.J. Heinz Co.!  This case was used by sales reps to carry their samples in as they went to visit different customers.  This listing is for ONLY the case.  Measures approx. 19 1/2" x 21 1/2" x 7 3/4".  All corners are reinforced with metal and there are metal rivets going up the sides.  There is a leather handle on the top, and partial remains of leather straps on the front and top of the case that would buckle it closed.  These straps are broken and deteriorating-see pics.  The best part is printed on the side reading, "No. 540 Property of H.J. Heinz Co. Pittsburgh".  Inside is dusty from years of storage!  A very cool piece!
