Vintage STERLING SILVER HAND PAINTED ? FLORAL PENDANT

Up for auction is this pretty vintage pendant. Back is marked STERLING. Front appears to be hand painted but I am not an expert. Seems to be a ceramic or porcelain or maybe something else? It's in good condition and measures 1 x 1 1/2".
