Vintage Mexico & Carribean Latin America C*ba Hand Carved Painted Shaker MARACAS

Description

One bid takes all four of these vintage ca 1940 (1930-50) tourist souvenir gourd shaker maracas.
These are vividly painted with wooden handles that have been warmed by age. All are hand-painted and carved.
The largest (about 9") has a blue base and painted Mexican woman in traditional clothes and carrying a large tray on her head. The sash at her feet reads "MEXICO"
Another brightly patchwork-colored piece has a carved lighthouse scene on one side, also carved is the name "CAROL" and carved on the back a Caribbean country name.
The last two are basically a pair, also with lighthouse scenes that appear to be by the same artist, very close color scheme, and are similar to the above piece. On the back is carved the name of the capital of the same Caribbean country.
As these are all hand-made and use articles of nature, no two are the same (including the pair). The gourd sizes and shapes differ, and the sound each shaker makes is unique to itself.
Condition: as in photos and descriptions, these are the exact item you will receive. The handles are all firmly in place. NOTE: there is a tight crack in one of the gourds of the "pair", shown in the last photo. Please view photos carefully as I consider them an important part of the description.
