Talk about a   great any-occasion gift to favorite person or a gift for oneself!
This is the prettiest black, natural onyx necklaces I’ve seen and certainly has the largest beads of all.
Rare is long length, 36 inches.
It’s a beautiful statement piece even black against black or any color
Four seasons depending on the contrasting dress color. As dressy as you wish and as formal as you wish.
Not appropriate for casual wear as it is such a commanding piece of jewelry
These are definitely not black glass or man made stone. Most onyx is lab made and much cheaper as you can imagine but all are sold as onyx

You can tell that it is all handmade
The round beads are not perfect spheres as in almost all onyx necklaces
Factory beads are cut by a machine nd are identical and perfect spheres
in this necklace, the beads are very slightly different one from the next since they are hand cut
Almost imperceptible except the human eye catches this slight differenceand it is a more beautiful and valuable necklace
The holes are also hand-Drilled. you can vaguely  see a bead where the drilling is the tinniest bit off-center even though you can not see it wearing it.
Another way to tell that it’s real stone and handmade is that the beads very ever so slightly in size between 13 and 14 MM.
The clasp is exceptional and should be wornon the side and visible tom all
It is a double  upside down heart and in a design that I haven’t seen before.
Marked 14k yellow gold.
The clasp does not need to be opened and closed to put the 36" lomg necklace over the head
The clasp was added for contrast in color and material, value and beauty
Vintage item in marvelous condition
Hand knotted stringing is original
