Notes:
These blowers/fans are high quality units that provide a lot of air movement without excessive noise. I realize the price is high, but I've tried to set it well below the price of competitive units. With these photos, I'm attempting to show you many different angles and views, so that you'll have a good idea of what you're getting.
Also, please note that the motor is very heavy for its small size, about 10 pounds.
But, as always, if you have any questions at all, please give me a call or send a message.
Here's the label. It's not been a lot of help for me in trying to find information about these blowers. For example, I have been unable to come up with a data sheet for them, at least so far. I don't even know when they were manufactured. They came to me unused, but without the manufacturer's original packaging. So I'm listing them as "New, Other". We can glean some info from this label, though. Even though it's fairly small, we can see that it moves a lot of air, since the squirrel cage spins at over 50 revolutions per second. Surprisingly, even though it moves as much air as it does, it's not real, real loud
―
though you wouldn't call it quiet either. Also, it only draws about 250 watts of power, and requires only household style power, 115vac, single phase. I did find out that it is rated for continuous operation, which is no real surprise, since its job is moving air.
Please note that an 8 microfarad run capacitor is required, so you will need to provide one.
I made these measurements by hand so that you'd have some idea of the dimensions of this blower. In addition, the motor itself is about 5" long by 4" diameter and the blower opening is 3.5" x 3.2".
This blower has eight mounting holes built in, four on each side of the motor. These two photos show the four on the side away from the rectangular fan opening. The other four holes are on the opposite side of the motor, so that you can mount this fan on whichever side you choose. (You can see the other side, the side with the rectangular opening, in the photo above with the yellow background and the red dimensions.) The holes on both sides are on 1.3125" (33.3mm) x 2.0" (51mm) spacing. The holes are threaded for 10-32 by 3/8" long screws, which are shown in the photo below.
I came up with this wiring diagram myself, from info I found on the web. I tested it on several of these blowers, and it worked well on every one. But if anyone knows anything different about the wiring, please let me know.
I have several of these blowers, as well as the 400hz, 3 phase version of them; to check them out, just jump to the "Industrial Items" section of my store (below). Or, give me a call or leave a message on this item.
