Johnny Town-Mouse comes to you complete with his signed certificate, autographed tag, colorful illustrated book in his original box with sleeve!!
He stands 3 1/2 inches tall and is made of fine custom-woven mohair with glass eyes and hand embroidered features. He is jointed at the neck and shoulders. His dashing outfit is made of felt and silk. This little guy is so realistic and beautifully crafted!
Johnny Town-Mouse was made exclusively for members of the R. John Wright Collector Club in 2002/3.
Johnny Town-Mouse was born in a cupboard and was dining with his mouse friends when to everyone’s surprise Timmy Willie came crashing through the ceiling and upset the dinner party! They became friends, but Johnny loved living in his town and Willie loved being a country mouse. So goes the enchanting Beatrix Potter tale.
R. John Wright is the famous doll artist who created “Johnny Town-Mouse”as part of his Beatrix Potter collection back in 2002/3.
