Original WWII US Civil Defense Air Raid Warden unsewn cloth armband #4497.

Description

Original unused World War II United States American Civil Defense (CD) Air Raid Warden cloth armband (only this unsewn armband is part of this Buy It Now listing).  White cotton armband has the CD Air Raid Warden symbol in white triangle centered in a blue circle with 1957 in red.  Armband would have all four edges sewn over and then used with safety pins for wear (Last photo shows a sewn Air Warden armband to show how these were finished for wear).  This item and others all came from a San Diego Block Warden's collection, so please see my other listings for more WWII CD and Home Front Items.  Armband measures 16.75x6.0 inches in size and is in near mint unused condition with some fold lines from storage and a few light spots on the white cloth from storage (see photos for best description).  Nice Armband for a WWII Home Front display or use by a WWII home front re-enactor.  Seller does combine shipping on items.  US buyer pays shipping and handling via First Class Mail parcel with tracking and International Buyers pay shipping and handling based upon a 2 ounce package via International First Class Mail Package service.  Please see my other auctions for more WWII patches, pins, and other military items and e-mail me any questions.
