JOAN BLACKWOOD ALICE (IN WONDERLAND) THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS DOLL, BACKDROP
Up for sale is a gorgeous Joan Blackwood, Alice Through The Looking Glass doll, her backdrop and a flamingo. Made for Masterpiece Galleries. She is used, but still in very nice condition. I did not find any flaws to note. She is a large, heavy resin/ porcelain mixture doll. The body is cloth. Approximately 17" from her seat to the top of her head. (She is molded in a seated position as shown. She has her flamingo which is a two part piece and gets inserted into her left hand. She has the Cheshire cat center decoration to the backdrop which is often missing. She also has her original box (it does show wear though), and her certificate. She is numbered 38 out of only 400 pieces made. A very beautiful piece!

My items are typically vintage pieces and are intended as collectibles, not children’s play toys. Some may require additional clean up upon arrival, although, I do try to clean items up when I feel that it won’t risk harming the item. Sometimes I do miss spots though. I do strive to note any and all flaws, but I don't always catch everything. Sometimes if my children interrupt during listing, I may even miss something major, it does not happen often, but has on the rare occasion.
