    Description

    Interesting grouping of WWI Croix de Guerre Fourragere and award certificate to a French soldier for action on 7th April 1915 at Mertzwiller Bas. Rhin, but awarded 13 May, 1938? Signed by Col Senseline commandant of 23 R.I.F. Certificate was glued to a cardboard frame backing and bears a faint ink stamp at lower right right above a small puncture to paper. Shadow box fame was taken apart for cleaning and photographs but will be reassembled and shipped as this grouping has existed since 1938. WWI era fourragere is in wonderful shape and as issued to WWI American units. Careful shipping 20.00
