This whole kit is very flimsy. The Volleyball itself did not reach full air, and was not even a circle. The Net overall is fine, the poles are terrible. I needed this to practice volleyball and it works! but needs to have better poles and sturdier net.

I was very pleased with this item and it's overall quality. I have had a few sets in the past and they typically don't last very long, especially when left outside. I know Dunlop has been around for a long time and thought I would give this a try. I could tell that there was a lot of attention to detail and connection points on the net even had metal liners to prevent them from tearing (image below). The ball was better quality than I expected and the there is even a knob to tighten the top role. All in..very cool!

Bought for my daughters birthday party....but the kids didn't even get to use it as the poles are hollow and collapsed when the volleyball hit it. Very disappointed, will be returning!!

So happy with my purchase! We had a high school reunion for the volleyball team and wanted to play together again so I purchased this set to play some competitive volleyball again! I was worried of the quality as the reviews were 50/50 but it was on sale therefore I bought it. After receiving the product I was NOT disappointed at all!! Had so much fun at the reunion and will definitely use it again!

My family is big into volleyball. We bought this net because we wanted to be able to play in the backyard or in the sand. Both my wife and I have played on similar sets so we felt comfortable getting this one. It worked perfectly. Set up was fairly easy with help from another person.The net stood up strong, it didn't matter whether the ball was hit into the net, it still stayed up. This is a great product. I would recommend this product to future buyers.

The pokes are very weak for a 30' net. The net and the ball are good quality. But without more stable poles the unit is weak.

My set came without a needle. I got it yesterday so haven't used it yet. But went through all the stuff and the needle is missing and says it should be in there.

I purchased this because it was supposed to include the whole set up, the ball, and the pump with the needle. This way I wouldn't have to purchase a ball separately and then a pump separately. Everything came as described except my pump had no needle. Even on the product manual that shows how to set up the item and shows all the little pieces included, that doesn't even show the needle is included. I was really upset, other than that, it seems ok. Haven't actually used it yet because we have no ball until we go buy a separate needle that was said to be included with the purchase.

Awful, just awful. I would rate it Negative Five Stars if that ere possible.Cannot get enough tension for the net to be straight. Poles immediately bent, making it useless. Picture directions were terrible.Walmart should not sell this type of junk.

VOLLEYBALL SET FOR OUR POOL

This volley ball set was not designed for a pool, but we were not able to find one we liked to go across our pool - so purchased this one to see if it would work. It is PERFECT!! It is wider than our pool, but we had flag poles with bases that hold water or sand, so we attached the net to those, rotated and wrapped net around poles until the net fit our pool, and voila! our family has been enjoying the net ever since. It is very durable, looks nice, and serves our purpose perfectly. We can also use it above ground when we want to. I would recommend this set - it is a very good buy for a very reasonable price.
Used for beach volleyball

We had a family reunion on the beach for a week and I bought this set for a volleyball tournament. We were concerned because it was a set but it worked perfectly! I did buy 4 screw anchors since it was set up in the sand. The net was tight enough for the ball to bounce out of, the poles were strong and stood up to heat and wind. It took maybe 20 minutes to set up initially but we took it down every night and set up in the morning took about 5 minutes. We had a great time and I packed it away to use next time!

I bought this for my niece for her 12th birthday. She just started playing volleyball and wanted a net to practice at home. It has been 3 weeks since she set it up and one of the poles always snapped in half. Given several good reviews, I thought this would last longer and I'm very disappointed.

I ordered this for my daughter because she loves volleyball. It did take a long time to get here and it was also a little bigger than I expected. It has draw strings on the net to make it smaller, which is great, but it does look a little weird when you do that. It also is not as sturdy as I thought it would be, but it works for now. It's not hard to put together but you will need two people to actually put it up in the yard.

I ordered this for my kids and they love it. It comes with everything you need to set it up. It even comes with a pump for the ball. I like that it has a carrying case for the set for storage and easy to take and go. The reason for the one star deduction is the poles are a mediocre type plastic which sits on a spike to put in the ground. It doesn't even like lock into place, it just sits on top. Ours got knocked over and the poles split on side at bottom near spike which causes it to be useless on the spike. We put smaller metal clamp around it to hold it securely on the spike. Overall, it is a good product.

we got this for my kids to practice their volleyball skills on the off season when they're not playing it on a school team. it set up quickly, and was great. its not some cheap flimsy net like some sets that Walmart sells. the net is huge, and I love the bag that it can go back into. the ball is actual size and good quality. kids love it.

So this is a nice net for backyard fun. The instructions for install, however, are HORRIBLE to understand but once you start putting it together it starts to make more sense. The poles are plastic so be very careful when adjusting them back and forth at the end. Also, my daughter tripped over the end ropes that helped to keep them tightened and caused one of the poles to break. When I contacted MD Sports to just try and replace that one piece, they didn't have it available to buy and told me I'd need to go back to Walmart to see if they could help. The ball also has a slow leak after only 3 weeks of use. All in all, it's worth the if you're just needing some fun every so often.
