Beautiful WWI Army Air Service Pilot Wings ~ Sweetheart ~ Aero Squadron Pin Back

For your consideration is this beautiful, WWI set of wings. I believe them to be a U.S. Army Air Service sweetheart piece, but they are large enough, and well made enough that I also considered the possibility they could be foreign air force wings. They measure approximately 2.75" across, so they're pretty large to be sweetheart/homefront wings. At any rate, I'm leaving the value up to the collectors on this one. They exhibit very fine detail and feathering, and are constructed of brass. They have not been cleaned, but would certainly clean up well if the new owner decides to go that route. Lastly, the pin catch has been bent to make sure the pin does not come out - the collection these came from was well over 50 years old, and I'm assuming these have been on display for at least that long. The catch could be "un-bent" if the new owner wishes to do so, or I'd be more than happy to do it myself at the buyers request prior to shipping. No reserve. Good luck!
