Antique US ARMY CAPTAIN BARS Collar Insignia Stamping Die * MC Lilley
From the archives of the M. C. Lilley Co and C. E. Ward Co., this listing is for an antique stamping die that was used to make Captain’s Bars collar insignia.  The bars have a diagonal pattern on the surface. The steel die is heavy (1 lb 4 oz). The base is approximately 1 ⅞” square and it tapers slightly to the top, standing just under 1 ⅜” high.  The condition is VG with old rust and some pitting.
