    Description

    Antique Japanese Edo Inro Set by Famous 19th- century artist Kajikawa Bunryusai , a member of Kajikawa Family,spesializing in  inro.
    Starting in the 17th century, the Kajikawa worked for shogunate until the 19th century.
    The two sides of the inro connected by the hawk looking at the bird flying over the plum tree blossoms on another side.
    Both medallions made of gold and black lacquer in relief ( takamakie) on gold fundame background. Signed on the bottom by K.Bunryusai. 4 cases and lid. Size:85mm x 50mm x 20mm.
    The Kagamibuta Netsuke consist of nicely polished stag antler bowl and a bronze lid with blossoms and two birds in relief . Size:30mm diameter.
    The bronze Ojime bead matches the inro and the ojime showing blossoms as well. Size:7mm diameter.
