    Description

Eytan Brandes is a master jeweler with over forty years' experience designing, selling, repairing, refashioning & appraising jewelry.  In January, 2019 we started the slow but satisfying process of listing Eytan's inventory on-line so that he can semi-retire and focus on custom designs.  Please check back as we're listing new items every week -- all fine jewelry in a range of styles and all priced with an emphasis on fairness and realism!
This great little bauble does double duty as a brooch and a pendant thanks to its swivel loop (see third photo).
We're not sure about the age of this penda-pin,* but we're guessing late 1940's to early 1960's based on the fittings.  The pin isn't marked in any way other than a hand-engraved "14K" -- so it's difficult to get more accurate than that.
The prong-set cultured pearls are small (2.5mm to 3mm) but good quality and do a nice job of setting off the points of the crown.
I think it's pretty clear that no chain is included, but let me just take a moment to confirm:  NO CHAIN IS INCLUDED.
    Measurements
    :
    Width: 1-1/4" wide (31mm)
    Height:  just over 5/8" (17mm)
Inner diameter of bale:  about 3.7mm
    Marks
:  "14k" is etched on the back; no maker's mark.  Note that we tested all components (bale, stake and pin) and guarantee this piece to be 14 karat gold.
    Weight
:  a regal 3.9 grams, of which the pearls account for about 0.30 grams
    Thanks for looking, your majesty!
