Description
the hearti want to emphasize, this locket is not perfect: there is verdigris that has built up over time on the heart: see second image.
however, this is probably from storage or contact with the air for so long, because it has not been worn. and there are ways to clean the verdigris off (just give it a google). no photo has been inside. etched floral design on the front (see fifth image for scan for most detail). i can't quite find markings on the heart that are clearly gold content. the bale is marked «1/20-12k g.f.» (see third-to-last image) but it culd be just the bale. the heart appears signed and has a bunch of marks inside: but i cannot at all make out what they are. i tried to scan it, but i couldn't because i could not have it flat on the scanner bed without damaging the locket. the second-to-last image is the clearest i could get with a high definition photo, but i cannot make it out (if you can, please tell me!). it could indicate the heart isn't just 12k filled, but maybe another gold value (since solid gold can also develop verdigris just from environmental factors alone). it could also include or instead be a singature: it's clearly letters of some sort, but i have no idea what they are. it seems like alot for just describing metal content, so i am guessing it has a signature states the location where it was made. at its tallest (the bale that is attached to the heart) down to the tip, it is 3/4". at its widest (top of heart), it is 1/2". fully extended (including the attached bale) is is 1". it is about 1/16" thick. this is probably right around from 1980.

the fine print
the images are the majority of the listing description, so take a look at them closely.
shipping costs have really increased—this is calculated into the buy-it-now price.
i am not able to sell individual items from items i have listed as a group. i just don't have the stamina to create new listings for those. i apologize for that. i haven't initially individually listed items because i don't have enough listing slots to so.
trying to downsize some, though extremely melancholically.
shipping time: i otherwise work more than full time and my health isn't great, so kindly excuse the longer handling time. if i am able to ship sooner, i absolutely will do that
. i appreciate you taking the time to view my listing.
